সূরা আল-আন'আম আয়াত ৪০ (৬:৪০) — Surah Al-An'am Verse 6:40
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ إِنْ أَتَىٰكُمْ عَذَابُ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ أَتَتْكُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ أَغَيْرَ ٱللَّهِ تَدْعُونَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
উচ্চারণ: qul ara-aytakum in atākum ʿadhābu l-lahi aw atatkumu l-sāʿatu aghayra l-lahi tadʿūna in kuntum ṣādiqīna
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: বল, তোমরা কি ভেবে দেখেছ, তোমাদের উপর যদি আল্লাহর শাস্তি এসে পড়ে কিংবা তোমাদের উপর ক্বিয়ামাত এসে যায় তাহলে কি তোমরা আল্লাহ ছাড়া অন্য কাউকে ডাকবে? (বল না) তোমরা যদি সত্যবাদী হও।
Conventional English Translation: Say, "Have you considered: if there came to you the punishment of Allah or there came to you the Hour - is it other than Allah you would invoke, if you should be truthful?"
