সূরা আত-তাওবাহ আয়াত ৫৪ (৯:৫৪) — Surah At-Tawbah Verse 9:54
وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَـٰرِهُونَ
উচ্চারণ: wamā manaʿahum an tuq'bala min'hum nafaqātuhum illā annahum kafarū bil-lahi wabirasūlihi walā yatūna l-ṣalata illā wahum kusālā walā yunfiqūna illā wahum kārihūna
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: আর তাদের ব্যয় কবুল না হওয়ার কারণ—তারা আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রাসূলকে অস্বীকার করেছে, তারা শুধু অলসভাবে সালাতে আসে এবং তারা শুধু অনিচ্ছায় ব্যয় করে।
Conventional English Translation: And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ (অর্থ সাহায্য তাদের) — শব্দমূল [ن ف ق]: তারা ব্যয় করে; ভেতরে অবিশ্বাস রেখে বাইরে বিশ্বাসের ভান করার ধ্বংসাত্মক কপটতা।; كَفَرُوا۟ (অবিশ্বাস করেছে) — শব্দমূল [ك ف ر]: অবিশ্বাস করেছে; সত্যের সুস্পষ্ট আলো দেখেও তা মাটিচাপা দিয়ে গোপন করা বা অবাধ্যতায় লিপ্ত থাকা।
শব্দে শব্দে অর্থ (Word by Word Meaning 9:54)
- وَمَا (wamā) — এবং না / And nothing
- مَنَعَهُمْ (manaʿahum) — তাদের নিবৃত্ত করেছে / বাধা দিয়েছে / prevented them [রূট: منع]
- أَن (an) — যে / that
- تُقْبَلَ (tuq'bala) — কবুল করা হবে / should be accepted [রূট: قبل]
- مِنْهُمْ (min'hum) — তাদের পক্ষ হতে / from them
- نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ (nafaqātuhum) — তাদের দান-অনুদান / their expenditures [রূট: نفق]
- إِلَّآ (illā) — ছাড়া / except
- أَنَّهُمْ (annahum) — যে নিশ্চয় তারা / that they
- كَفَرُوا۟ (kafarū) — কুফরি করেছে / disbelieved [রূট: كفر]
- بِٱللَّهِ (bil-lahi) — আল্লাহর প্রতি / in Allah [রূট: اله]
- وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ (wabirasūlihi) — ও তাঁর রাসূলের প্রতি / and in His Messenger [রূট: رسل]
- وَلَا (walā) — এবং না / and not
- يَأْتُونَ (yatūna) — তারা উপস্থিত হয় / they come to [রূট: اتي]
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ (l-ṣalata) — সালাতে / prayer [রূট: صلو]
- إِلَّا (illā) — ছাড়া / except
- وَهُمْ (wahum) — এমন অবস্থায় যে তারা / while they are
- كُسَالَىٰ (kusālā) — চরম অলস ও অনিচ্ছুক / lazy [রূট: كسل]
- وَلَا (walā) — এবং না / and not
- يُنفِقُونَ (yunfiqūna) — তারা ব্যয় করে / they spend [রূট: نفق]
- إِلَّا (illā) — ছাড়া / except
- وَهُمْ (wahum) — এমন অবস্থায় যে তারা / while they are
- كَـٰرِهُونَ (kārihūna) — অনিচ্ছুক ও অসন্তুষ্ট / unwilling [রূট: كره]
