সূরা আয-যুখরুফ আয়াত ১৭ (৪৩:১৭) — Surah Az-Zukhruf Verse 43:17
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مَثَلًۭا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّۭا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
উচ্চারণ: wa-idhā bushira aḥaduhum bimā ḍaraba lilrraḥmāni mathalan ẓalla wajhuhu mus'waddan wahuwa kaẓīmun
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: তাদের কাউকে যখন সংবাদ দেয়া হয় সেই সন্তানের যা তারা দয়াময় আল্লাহর প্রতি আরোপ করে, তখন তার মুখ মন্ডলে কালিমা ছেয়ে যায়, আর মন দুঃখ বেদনায় ভরে যায়।
Conventional English Translation: And when one of them is given good tidings of that which he attributes to the Most Merciful in comparison, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
