সূরা আল-কাহফ আয়াত ১৭ (১৮:১৭) — Surah Al-Kahf Verse 18:17
۞ وَتَرَى ٱلشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَت تَّزَٰوَرُ عَن كَهْفِهِمْ ذَاتَ ٱلْيَمِينِ وَإِذَا غَرَبَت تَّقْرِضُهُمْ ذَاتَ ٱلشِّمَالِ وَهُمْ فِى فَجْوَةٍۢ مِّنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ مَن يَهْدِ ٱللَّهُ فَهُوَ ٱلْمُهْتَدِ ۖ وَمَن يُضْلِلْ فَلَن تَجِدَ لَهُۥ وَلِيًّۭا مُّرْشِدًۭا
উচ্চারণ: watarā l-shamsa idhā ṭalaʿat tazāwaru ʿan kahfihim dhāta l-yamīni wa-idhā gharabat taqriḍuhum dhāta l-shimāli wahum fī fajwatin min'hu dhālika min āyāti l-lahi man yahdi l-lahu fahuwa l-muh'tadi waman yuḍ'lil falan tajida lahu waliyyan mur'shidan
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: তুমি দেখতে পেতে সূর্য উদয়ের সময় তাদের গুহা হতে ডান দিকে হেলে যেত, আর যখন তা অস্তমিত হত তখন তা তাদের থেকে বাম দিকে নেমে যেত, আর তারা ছিল গুহার অভ্যন্তরে বিশাল চত্বরে। এ হচ্ছে আল্লাহর নিদর্শনসমূহের অন্যতম। আল্লাহ যাকে সৎপথ দেখান সে সঠিকপথপ্রাপ্ত আর যাকে তিনি পথহারা করেন, তার জন্য তুমি কক্ষনো সৎপথের দিশা দানকারী অভিভাবক পাবে না।
Conventional English Translation: And [had you been present], you would see the sun when it rose, inclining away from their cave on the right, and when it set, passing away from them on the left, while they were [laying] within an open space thereof. That was from the signs of Allah. He whom Allah guides is the [rightly] guided, but he whom He leaves astray - never will you find for him a protecting guide.

- فَهُوَ (fahuwa) — অতঃপর সেই / then he is
- ٱلْمُهْتَدِ ۖ (l-muh'tadi) — সঠিক পথপ্রাপ্ত / the guided one [রূট: هدي]
- وَمَن (waman) — এবং যাকে / and whomever
- يُضْلِلْ (yuḍ'lil) — পথভ্রষ্ট করেন / He lets go astray [রূট: ضلل]
- فَلَن (falan) — তখন কখনও না / then never
