সূরা সোয়াদ আয়াত ৩১ (৩৮:৩১) — Surah Sad Verse 38:31
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّـٰفِنَـٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ
উচ্চারণ: idh ʿuriḍa ʿalayhi bil-ʿashiyi l-ṣāfinātu l-jiyādu
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: যখন তার সামনে সন্ধ্যাকালে উৎকৃষ্ট জাতের দ্রুতগামী অশ্ব উপস্থিত করা হল,
Conventional English Translation: [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: بِالْعَشِيِّ (bi-l-'ashiyy): in the afternoon/twilight; الصَّافِنَاتُ الْجِيَادُ (aṣ-ṣāfinātu l-jiyād): thoroughbred swift horses standing poised.
