সূরা ইয়াসীন আয়াত ৮ (৩৬:৮) — Surah Ya-Sin Verse 36:8
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِىٓ أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ أَغْلَـٰلًۭا فَهِىَ إِلَى ٱلْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
উচ্চারণ: innā jaʿalnā fī aʿnāqihim aghlālan fahiya ilā l-adhqāni fahum muq'maḥūna
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: আমি তাদের গলদেশে (তাদের জিদ ও অহমিকার) বেড়ি পরিয়ে দিয়েছি আর তা থুতনি পর্যন্ত (গিয়ে ঠেকেছে), কাজেই তারা মাথা খাড়া করে রেখেছে।
Conventional English Translation: Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft.
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: أَغْلَالًا (aghlālan): iron yokes/shackles; إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ: up to the chins; مُّقْمَحُونَ (muqmaḥūn): heads forced upward.
শব্দে শব্দে অর্থ (Word by Word Meaning 36:8)
- إِنَّا (innā) — নিশ্চয়ই আমরা / Indeed We
- جَعَلْنَا (jaʿalnā) — আমরা লাগিয়েছি / have placed [রূট: جعل]
- فِىٓ (fī) — উপর / upon
- أَعْنَـٰقِهِمْ (aʿnāqihim) — তাদের গলায় / their necks [রূট: عنق]
- أَغْلَـٰلًۭا (aghlālan) — বেড়িসমূহ / shackles [রূট: غلل]
- فَهِىَ (fahiya) — তা তাই / so they are
- إِلَى (ilā) — (রয়েছে) পর্যন্ত / up to
- ٱلْأَذْقَانِ (l-adhqāni) — চিবুকগুলো (শৃঙ্খলিত হয়ে) / the chins [রূট: ذقن]
- فَهُم (fahum) — তারা এজন্য / so they are
- مُّقْمَحُونَ (muq'maḥūna) — ঊর্ধ্বমুখী (হয়ে আছে) / with heads raised high [রূট: قمح]
