সূরা আল-ফুরকান আয়াত ৬০ (২৫:৬০) — Surah Al-Furqan Verse 25:60
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلرَّحْمَـٰنِ قَالُوا۟ وَمَا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًۭا ۩
উচ্চারণ: wa-idhā qīla lahumu us'judū lilrraḥmāni qālū wamā l-raḥmānu anasjudu limā tamurunā wazādahum nufūran
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয় ‘রহমান’-এর উদ্দেশ্যে সাজদায় অবনত হও, তারা বলে- ‘রহমান আবার কী? আমাদেরকে তুমি যাকেই সেজদা করতে বলবে আমরা তাকেই সেজদা করব নাকি?’ এতে তাদের অবাধ্যতাই বেড়ে যায়। [সাজদাহ]
Conventional English Translation: And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: ar-rahmān: the universally benevolent Matrix of existence; usjudū: submit unconditionally; nufūran: aversion/flight like startled beasts.

- أَنَسْجُدُ (anasjudu) — আমরা কি সিজদা করব / Shall we prostrate [রূট: سجد]
- لِمَا (limā) — তাকে যাকে / to that which
- تَأْمُرُنَا (tamurunā) — তুমি আমাদের আদেশ করছো?" / you order us?" [রূট: امر]
- وَزَادَهُمْ (wazādahum) — আর এতে তাদের বৃদ্ধি পায় / and it increases them [রূট: زيد]
- نُفُورًۭا ۩ (nufūran) — বিমুখতা / in aversion [রূট: نفر]
