সূরা আল-ফুরকান আয়াত ৪২ (২৫:৪২) — Surah Al-Furqan Verse 25:42
إِن كَادَ لَيُضِلُّنَا عَنْ ءَالِهَتِنَا لَوْلَآ أَن صَبَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا ۚ وَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ حِينَ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ مَنْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا
উচ্চারণ: in kāda layuḍillunā ʿan ālihatinā lawlā an ṣabarnā ʿalayhā wasawfa yaʿlamūna ḥīna yarawna l-ʿadhāba man aḍallu sabīlan
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: সে তো আমাদেরকে আমাদের ইলাহদের থেকে অবশ্যই সরিয়ে দিত যদি আমরা তাদের প্রতি দৃঢ়চিত্ত না থাকতাম। যখন তারা শাস্তি দেখবে তখন জানবে যে পথের ক্ষেত্রে কারা অধিক ভ্রষ্ট ছিল।
Conventional English Translation: He almost would have misled us from our gods had we not been steadfast in [worship of] them." But they are going to know, when they see the punishment, who is farthest astray in [his] way.
