সূরা আয-যুমার আয়াত ২৪ (৩৯:২৪) — Surah Az-Zumar Verse 39:24
أَفَمَن يَتَّقِى بِوَجْهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلْعَذَابِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ
উচ্চারণ: afaman yattaqī biwajhihi sūa l-ʿadhābi yawma l-qiyāmati waqīla lilẓẓālimīna dhūqū mā kuntum taksibūna
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: ক্বিয়ামতের দিন যে ব্যক্তি তার (হাত পা বাঁধা থাকার কারণে) মুখমন্ডলের সাহায্যে ভয়ানক ‘আযাবের আঘাত ঠেকাতে চাইবে (সে কি তার মত যে এসব থেকে নিরাপদ)? যালিমদেরকে বলা হবে- তোমরা যা অর্জন করেছ তার স্বাদ গ্রহণ কর।
Conventional English Translation: Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn."
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: يَتَّقِي بِوَجْهِهِ (yattaqī bi-wajhihi): shields with his face; سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ: the terrible punishment; بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْسِبُونَ: for what you used to earn.

- أَفَمَن (afaman) — তবে কি যে / Then is he who
- يَتَّقِى (yattaqī) — ঠেকাতে চাইবে / shields [রূট: وقي]
- بِوَجْهِهِۦ (biwajhihi) — তার চেহারা দিয়ে / with his face [রূট: وجه]
- سُوٓءَ (sūa) — কঠিন / the terrible [রূট: سوا]
- ٱلْعَذَابِ (l-ʿadhābi) — শাস্তিকে / punishment [রূট: عذب]
- يَوْمَ (yawma) — দিনে / on the Day of [রূট: يوم]
- ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۚ (l-qiyāmati) — ক্বিয়ামাতের (বাঁচতে পারবে?) / Resurrection [like the secure]? [রূট: قوم]
- وَقِيلَ (waqīla) — এবং বলা হবে / And it will be said [রূট: قول]
- لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ (lilẓẓālimīna) — সীমালঙ্ঘনকারীদেরকে / to the wrongdoers, [রূট: ظلم]
- ذُوقُوا۟ (dhūqū) — "তোমরা স্বাদ নাও / "Taste [রূট: ذوق]
- مَا (mā) — যা / what
- كُنتُمْ (kuntum) — তোমরা / you used to [রূট: كون]
- تَكْسِبُونَ (taksibūna) — অর্জন করেছিলে" / earn." [রূট: كسب]
