সূরা আন-নাযিয়াত আয়াত ৪০ (৭৯:৪০) — Surah An-Nazi'at Verse 79:40
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ
উচ্চারণ: wa-ammā man khāfa maqāma rabbihi wanahā l-nafsa ʿani l-hawā
প্রচলিত বাংলা অনুবাদ: আর যে তার রবের সামনে দাঁড়াতে ভয় করেছে এবং নিজেকে কুপ্রবৃত্তি থেকে নিবৃত্ত রেখেছে।
Conventional English Translation: But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,
শব্দ ও রূট বিশ্লেষণ: Root ن-ه-ي (n-h-y): conscious inhibition and impulse control; ه-و-ي (h-w-y): base entropic desires.
